I have just come back from having a mammogram as I had found a lump and had pain. I was looked after so well by the team in the Breast Care Centre. The nurses had a sense of humour, were very caring and everything ran like clockwork. I would like to thank the team, especially Gaurol Patel, Wendy and Sheeba. I didn't get the names of anyone else but they were all amazing. A big thank you for caring and making me feel relaxed.

I have been attending the eye clinic for the past few years with double vision , on every appointment I have been treated with care and respect, 4 weeks ago i had surgery by Miss Bina Parmar to correct my double vision in which the surgery was a huge success and the whole experience even though in lock down was professional caring and safe from all staff involved, and although my condition was not life threatening the surgery has improved my quality of life, I owe huge thanks to Miss Parmar.

I really can’t thank MK Breast Clinic enough for the care and kindness shown through my breast cancer treatment from initial investigations and through surgery. All the nurses I have encountered were unfailingly kind and considerate. My consultant was Miss Gaural Patel who treated me with empathy and respect. Everything was explained thoroughly and questions answered. I felt very safe in her hands. My surgery went very smoothly at Blakelands and I made a very quick recovery. I cannot praise her enough for her overall care and very skilful surgery which I am so happy with.

I consider myself very fortunate to have been under the care of Dr Patel and the excellent team at the Breast Care Unit. At all times from the first consultation through to surgery, aftercare and discharge Dr Patel has shown me the utmost empathy and consideration. At each stage I was given clear and precise information and explanation while also listening to my concerns. The procedure at Blakelands Hospital went well and recovery has been good due to the high standards of care I received from Dr Patel and the staff at Blakelands.

During my recent breast surgery I was extremely anxious before, but Ms Patel was so calming and explained the procedure with care and thoughtfulness. The follow up care was conducted over the phone and finally by video consultation, where again Ms Patel was easy to talk to and explained things very clearly. All the care I received from everyone was excellent. Thank you.

I have been a patient at the Milton Keynes Breast care unit for a couple of months now. I have had a biopsy with Sheeba who was fantastic! She was very precise and made sure I was comfortable. She was very informative when I asked her questions and went through everything step by step. I was also treated with extreme care and holism by the wonderful Gaural Patel. She was extremely kind and has been a wonderful person to have in what could be a worrying situation. Leanne who worked besides Patel and Sheeba was also very friendly and helped to distract me when I was getting the biopsy. Thanks to the whole team at the breast care unit!

Day Surgery - Efficient, caring and levels of communication good on admission. When I came round from the operation the team were attentive but needed to be aware of when I felt I was ready to be discharged. The environment was clean, and well staffed, however patients should have been made aware that patients coming round from surgery did not need other day patient waiting for surgery on phones or facetime, as we were coming from G.A and didn't need to hear other peoples conversations and consideration should have been made. For me irritation indicated I was ready to be discharged.

My mum is having chemo for Breast cancer, her temperature went up to 38 and we were told she might have sepsis and she needs to be admitted, the nurses are not trained to get blood out from her pick line and couldn’t take blood out anyways from her arm, she struggled We waited for 3 hours just for the doctor to come and get her bloods taken, then wait another 2 hours for the results to come, she gets an infection and they have no care for people who have cancer, the receptionist kept on saying they can’t do anything, my mum was struggling to sit down and was getting cold and they still didn’t bother
